The eclectic-secessionist-modern style palace of the former Hungarian General Credit Bank (today it is the Ministry of National Economic Affairs)
The palace of the former Hungarian General Credit Bank ("Magyar Általános Hitelbank") in Budapest on the József Nádor Square was designed by Ignác Alpár and built between 1909-1913, it combines the eclectic, the Art Nouveau and the modern styles. The building is used by the Ministry of Finance ("Pénzügyminisztérium") and its successor the Ministry of National Economic Affairs ("Nemzetgazdasági Minisztérium") since 1948.
