The difference between the pale yellow flower called the common primrose (Primula vulgaris) and its relative the common cowslip (Primula veris) is for example that in the case of the former one the flowers don't grow out of a common stem, but directly from the base of the plant. In the Middle Ages in Hungary this herbaceous plant was called "key flower", because it was believed that this can open every lock. However in the present people's mind the question arises that exactly how they imagined it...
