Designed by Ferenc Kasselik, built in 1837.

The old city walls of Pest were on the way of the expansion and development of the city, so in 1897 the city center was completely rebuilt or in fact demolished, because most of the old buildings were torn down. But from the old downtown this neoclassical style building survived the demolition, beside for example the Péterffy Palace and the Inner City Parish Church.
